  1. Get 2 tbsp Black peppercorns
  2. Get 500 grams Lean beef steak
  3. Get 1 tbsp Sunflower oil

  5. Prepare 1 small Onion ( chopped )
  6. Get 1 cup Cream
  7. Take 1 Salt to taste

The steak marinates in a flavorful sauce for an hour and then is joined with stir-fried bell peppers, onions, and tomatoes. Make sure to dish it out hot off the stove and onto a warm bed of rice. The rice will soak up the mouth-watering marinade. Repeat twice more, with the remaining beef, and set the cooked beef aside.

Instructions to make PEPPER STEAK:
  1. Place the papercorns on a cutting board, cover with a paper towel and, with a rolling pin, crush into course pieces. Press the crushed peppercorns on to both sides of the steak.
  2. In a large frying pan, heat the butter and oil over moderately high heat. Add the Steak and saute for 5 minutes. Turn the Steak over and continue sauteing until done according to taste, about 5 minutes for rare. Transfer to a carving board with a well to catch the juices. Cover with aluminium foil and keep warm.
  3. Reduce the heat to moderate. Add the onion to the remaining drippings in the frying pan. saute the onion for about 5 minutes until soft. Gradually stir in the cream. Cook the source, stirring constantly, for 2 to 3 minutes until it thickens slightly. ( do not boil ). Season the source with salt.
  4. Cut the steak crosswise into thin slices and transfer into a warmed serving platter. Poor any accumulated juices and the onion sauce over the steak and serve immediately.

The rice will soak up the mouth-watering marinade. Repeat twice more, with the remaining beef, and set the cooked beef aside. Add celery, bell pepper and tomatoes.
